These are drawings I made when I visited London for the weekend with my family in May 2012. We visited the Harry Potter Studio Tour while we were there.

Normandy

 

Last June my family and I went to Normandy, France to learn about World War 2 and D-Day. We went to Juno beach, Utah beach, Omaha beach, a few war museums, and the American Cemetery. We learned a lot about WWII.

In Normandy there was one war

That war was called D-Day

That war wasted many lives

The Allies fought lots of Germans

Hitler led the Germans

The Germans has unleashed an awful war

The Allies fought on beaches and battlefields

All the Allies won the battle of Normandy

Big Ben

Last May 2012, my family and I spent a weekend in London. I got to see and sketch Big Ben all lit up at night.
